Working Groups

    These tactical groups enable analytics professionals to dive deep into how analytics can improve and transform critical utility business processes – and define best practices. Initial issues to cover include asset optimization, analytics personnel, customer marketing and segmentation, data quality and meter data analytics.

    Asset Health

    This working group will share asset health analytics and data management best practices. Members will examine common challenges, learn from the experiences of others, explore innovative solutions and seek answers to difficult questions.

    The Customer Engagement Working Group will share the role of analytics in the efforts of utility companies to understand customers and deepen relationships. Analytics solutions and success stories will be shared, questions and challenges will be addressed and innovative ideas will be examined.

    Load Forecasting & Management

    The Load Forecasting & Management Working Group (LFMWG) will cover a variety of topics related to evaluating and predicting customer usage based upon existing and future customer characteristics with an emphasis on methods to modify system and distribution level load shapes to increase efficiency and reliability.

    Analytics Business Integration & Self Service

    The Analytics Business Integration and Self-Service (ABISS) Working Group provides utilities a forum to discuss obstacles, challenges, opportunities and solutions to achieve the adoption of self-service analytics. This working group will focus on concepts, ideas and proven methods that result in an increase in the use of analytics self-service.
